I have just received from the Registrar of the University of Hong Kong a letter dated 28th May, copy attached, sending two copies of the detailed schemes for the use of the capital grants for the University. Attached is one set of these schemes. You will see that these proposals will be reaching you through official channels but I thought you might like to have this set in advance.

Dr. Ride, the Vice-Chancellor, will be discussing these plans with the Executive Committee of the Inter-University Council at their meeting on the 15th June. If there is any particular point concerning the plan you would like our Committee to raise with Dr. Ride would you let me know.
